Restaurant Manager & Host

You will possess excellent communication skills, outgoing personality and passion for making the guests feel valued and at ease. As the Host for our restaurant, you are responsible for ensuring the customer’s experience is first class from start to finish and that their individual needs are met. The salary is dependant on experience.

Duties include maintaining stocks in the bar and restaurant; liaising with housekeeping and the maintenance department as required. Ensuring restaurant takings balance; training and briefing staff regarding service, systems and standards required; ensuring staffing levels are maintained at appropriate levels and ensuring rotas are in place for adequate staff cover. Holding staff meetings and appraisals.

You will maintain set margins, watch supplier pricing, adjust for price increases, place orders in a timely fashion and maintain good relations with suppliers.

Moddershall Oaks is an award-winning restaurant in a unique and beautiful location, where opportunities and potential for growth are available.
