Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager is responsible for composing and acting out marketing plans for the business both as a whole and for the individual business areas. This is a driving, fast paced role due to the reactive nature of the company and requires organisation, flexibility, and decisiveness. The main purpose of this role is to compose plans, analyse returns and make decisions on the back of what does / does not work. The aim is to establish marketing KPIs to enable us to measure marketing activity and manage the marketing budget effectively. You will also be responsible for another team member in marketing that currently focuses on design, content, creative and social media, including prioritising their tasks, briefing them, and managing their performance.

Moddershall Oaks is a multi-faceted country spa retreat where marketing is key to communicate the brand as a whole, as well as the individual segments of the business including restaurant, weddings, spa, accommodation, corporate and the wellness centre. Multi-tasking and organisation are key to performing successfully in this role.

The Marketing Manager is a senior management role responsible for putting the brand in front of the right type of customer, with the overall aim of generating sales. This is both a strategic role and a hands-on position – you are not only responsible for shaping the plan but for executing it too, implementing a wide range of marketing actions to ensure the business achieves its objectives.

Moddershall Oaks is a 7-day week hospitality business therefore the role requires flexibility and some weekend work in line with the business needs. Many sales and marketing events that you would be managing and representing the business would be held at weekends for example open days and exhibitions.

Hours: 40 per week
Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year depending on experience
