Are you open now?
Yes we have been open since Saturday 1st August 2020.
Are all the facilites going to be open?
Unfortunately due to the government guidelines being changed our sauna and steam room will remain closed until further notice. But our outdoor vitality pool, indoor hydrotherapy pool, swimming pool, mud rasul treatment room, foot baths, experience showers, heated loungers and spa therapy treatment floor are all open.
Is there one way systems in place?
No but we have carefully planned our arrival and departure times to limit guest foot fall.
Will social distancing be in place?
We have followed the government guidelines on social distancing and you will see measures in place when you arrive, to keep our staff and guests safe.
Are all treatments, including facials, going ahead as normal?
Facials are now back on our treatment menu and can be booked in as normal
Can I make a group booking?
There will be a maximum of 6 guests per booking, based on current government advice.
Do I need to wear a face mask at the spa?
Following new government advice, all guests, members and visitors will now need to wear a face covering in the following areas:
- When entering the spa and in our reception area
- When entering the restaurant, but can be removed once seated
- In corridors and public areas such as the sleep lounge & relaxation lounge – masks can be removed in the relaxation lounge if eating or drinking.
- On the treatment floor waiting area
- The Blush Lounge beauty room
- In the changing rooms, but can be removed when showering.
Are you COVID-19 Industry Standard Approved?
Yes, and our certificates of approval can be found both on our Covid-19 page and around the building.
Arriving in a strange place can seem a bit daunting – how will I find my way around?
Don’t worry you’ll be met by friendly staff and given a guided tour when you arrive and remember, while you are here we are always on hand to help. Never be too shy to ask questions.
I’ve booked in for a massage, when I arrive how should I prepare?
Arrive as early as you can in order to relax prior to your spa treatment.
What if I feel nervous and tense during my first time with a therapist?
Let go. It may seem strange at first but just let go of your mind and body – let the therapist do what he or she does best.
Can I still come if I’m pregnant?
Of course you can, although you will have to avoid hydrotherapy, sauna and steam rooms and certain treatments. At Moddershall Oaks we have special fitness programmes and spa treatments for pregnant ladies – please make sure you tell us if you are or suspect you are pregnant.
What if I have a physical ailment, disability or allergy?
Just let us know – when you book if you can, and we will customise your spa treatments accordingly.
What is the dress code?
Very casual. You are here to relax and you will find many people make the most of that opportunity by wearing robes or gym wear around Moddershall, even at breakfast and lunch. For evening dinner you may want to change into something a bit less casual. At Moddershall Oaks the choice is yours – absolutely.
Do men go to Moddershall?
Yes. There are many men who want to relax, unwind and develop a healthier lifestyle, whether on their own or as part of a couple. We cater for men as well as women and even have treatments geared specifically for them. There are also great fitness and leisure opportunities at Moddershall Oaks from our up-to-the-minute gym to the tennis court in our superb grounds.
Is there an age restriction?
Yes, at Moddershall we want adults to be able to relax away from all responsibilities. That’s why we have a minimum age of 16 years in place.

Moddershall Oaks is the ideal location for your first spa experience. All our people are warm, welcoming and helpful. We will put you at ease as soon as you step into Moddershall – making your first impression a positive and relaxing one. Thereafter, we will be on hand at all times to guide and help you. In short, from the minute you arrive to when you leave you will be treated like a VIP.
